Spring has officially sprung at Basil & Bloom, and the babies are hatching faster than we can name them.
Right now, we’ve got:
Ducks and chicks chirping away in the brooder
Fresh eggs of all kinds available (and yes, the colors are just as pretty as the Pinterest boards)
And a countdown to guinea and turkey hatchings happening next week
If you’re local and craving farm-fresh eggs—or looking to add a few feathered friends to your own flock—reach out! We’ve got fluff, cluck, and quack covered.
And in bittersweet news…
Last fall, we lost all of our honeybee hives. It was a tough blow, but in true farm fashion, we’ve picked ourselves up, started over, and if all goes well, we hope to have honey back by this fall. The bees are busy, and we’re cheering them on like proud plant parents.
Thanks for sticking with us through all the seasons—the wild ones, the quiet ones, and the ones that buzz.
Stay tuned, stay sweet, and stop by if you need eggs, baby birds, or a little sunshine from the flock.
